I had some cheaper shoes to start off with for bouldering when I was getting into it but found they weren't good for certain things like overhangs and smearing.Decided to get these and I would say that my climbing has improved, however no shoe is going to make you good automatically.The shoe itself is very very snug. I wear a UK size 9 shoe and got some of the same size. Bouldering shoes are meant to be tight so it's worth bearing in mind they are not the most comfortable when you initially start wearing them. It took a couple of sessions to break them in and they feel better around my feet now.The design is nice and I think they are worth the price if you're starting out and want to get stuck into the sport.I always used to use Katanas but these are better in every way. Excellent edging and reasonably good for smearing. Also just as comfortable as Katanas and good for both long and short routes.Eccellente acquisto.
