I've had a pair of Geckoman shoes for a year or two now and have been very happy with them. They are the ones that you can just slip your feet into as there is nothing behind the heel. I've been wearing them as Indoor shoes while I've worn both Lands' End and L.L. Bean as outdoor around the house shoes. Neither of those two brands have had the arch support I need, as I have very flat feet. Also, neither of those brands have lasted as long as they used to. I got about six months wear out of the Lands' Ends and a year or two out of the L.L. Beans. Since the pair of Geckoman shoes I've been using have served me well and give surprisingly good arch support, I decided to try another pair. This time I ordered the ones that have material behind the heel which can be left up, or can fold down so you can wear them as a true slip-on. I just received them today, and I am not disappointed. They feel great and have the same good arch support as my older pair at a much better price than the shoes I've been wearing as my outside shoes. I'm very happy with this pair of shoes right now, and if they wear as well as my first pair, I'll be ecstatic.In my mid 50's, bending down isn't as easy as it was in the past, so slip-on shoes for casual activities is the go-to! I ordered these in my "normal" size of 10.5, but they were a bit tight. Not so much their fault, as mine, as my right foot is probably about a 10.75 :(. I returned and ordered the 11's, and as expected they are just a smidge too big. That being said, I still love these shoes. They have a bump in an unusual place, kind of in the middle of the ball-arch of the foot area that takes a bit to get used to, but overall, very comfortable, easy to get on and off, you can wear them will heels down or up, depending on the activity at hand. They feel like an old friend the first time that you put them on, no breaking in needed here. These definitely won't be the only pair that I buy!SATISFIED WITH PURCHASEFantastic on all aspects! None at all in regard to wearing them.The insole provides lots of arch support & the shoe’s inner lining in fabulously soft. The entire shoe looks well built. Unless something materializes to change things, I’m a believer.One point to mention; The light colored outer soles do scuff easily, but one of those Mr. Clean white cleaning bricks are magic with returning the shoes to pristine condition. That trick works extremely well with sneakers & most any rubber sole shoes.If you’re looking for a comfortable casual shoe that will fit most any wardrobe & destination, give them a try! If they don’t work for you, send them back.Light weight and comfortable, wear a size 10 1/2 wide with but these only come in full sizes. It's a bit tight on one foot but hopping shoe will stretch with wear on the one foot.My husband loves these.After purchasing 5 pairs which wear out in about 6 months. The latest pair had the sole separate from the shoe within 2 months. Figure it must be a defective shoe.I will continue to buy them for him because they fit well and prevent back pain for him.Hopefully the next pair I ordered will not fall apart.Usually the sole wears down after 6 months and we get a new pair. Worn almost everyday.The shoes seem well made and definitely better than barefoot, but I am disappointed in the support. The description makes it sound amazing, but it's just ok. A thin layer of molded foam with an unusual bump in the center. I will keep them though, and likely just put in some insoles that I prefer.Great footwear to kick around in. I were most every day. Not something for the office with suits and ties, but work pretty much everywhere else. Very comfortable
